About Us
We are an interdisciplinary group of individuals that are working to help identify and screen persons who are at high risk for substance use in the state of Rhode Island.
What We Do.
We provide education, support, resources, live simulations, and training to assist healthcare providers, schools, and the greater community to identify and address high risk substance use in Rhode Island.
Dr. Sue Pearlmutter, Professor and Dean of School of Social Work provides oversight and guidance to the program.
Dr. Jayashree Nimmagadda, Professor, School of Social Work, overseas the curriculum development and implementation of the project.
Chris Donovan-Dorval, MSW, LCSW, leads the training efforts at the resource center
